Renovation and addition of a 1940’s home in Catalina Vista. The intervention honored the original modest scale while expanding the footprint to create new living and sleeping spaces that provided light, connection, and openness. To create harmony within the home - a place to listen to records, to catch up on the day while preparing an email, to gather with friends and family, and reading a book in the northern light.

We embraced a limited material palette for continuity and were mindful of preserving and expanding on some of the original elements of the home.
